FOR CD CTC CHICAGO ARTCC AT 630-906-8921.
RIGHT TRAFFIC FOR RWY 18 AT THIS AIRPORT IS ADDED TO THE EXISTING LETTER OF AGREEMENT. THE FLIGHT PROCEDURES DIVISION INDICATES THAT THERE IS NO IFR EFFECT. THE 20:1 APPROACH SURFACE AND THE OBSTACLE FREE ZONE (AS DEFINED IN FAA AC 15015300-13A, TABLE 3-2, RUNWAY TYPE 2, AND PARAGRAPH 308.A.(1)(B), RESPECTIVELY) ARE CLEAR OF OBSTRUCTION. WITH THESE SURFACES CLEAR, SAFE OPERATIONS CAN BE CONDUCTED AT THE PROPOSED AIRPORT. NOTE: ALL IDOT DIVISION OF AERONAUTICS MINIMUM STANDARDS AS CONTAINED IN THE AVIATION SAFETY RULES MUST BE MAINTAINED, REGARDLESS OF THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION'S AIRSPACE DETERMINATION. THE LOOT-DIVISION OF AERONAUTICS WILL FILE AN INITIAL 5010-5 FORM ON YOUR BEHALF, TO THE FAA, TO ACTIVATE THE RESTRICTED LANDING AREA IN THE FAA AIRSPACE SYSTEM, UPON CERTIFICATION OF THE FACILITY. IN THE FUTURE YOU MAY RECEIVE THIS FORM DIRECTLY FROM THEM, WHICH YOU MUST SIGN AND RETURN EACH YEAR AFTER THIS. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE 5010-5 FORM IS THE ONLY METHOD THE FAA HAS FOR TRACKING THE EXISTENCE OF PRIVATE FACILITIES . FAILURE TO PROMPTLY RETURN ANY SUCH CORRESPONDENCE FROM THE FAA COULD RESULT IN THE ASSUMPTION THAT YOUR FACILITY IS NO LONGER IN EXISTENCE. THIS NOTICE DOES NOT ENSURE PROTECTION OF THE AIRPORT ENVIRONMENT BY FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL ZONING ORDINANCES.
