Which format should I use?

RSS is what every reader app understands, so use it unless you have a reason not to. JSON Feed carries the same items in a shape that is easier to consume from code, and is the better choice if you are building something on top of this rather than reading it.

Feeds carry a summary and a link rather than the whole article, except the advisory feed, which carries the full decoded advisory and the raw FAA text because it is worthless an hour later. If you need structured weather data rather than articles, use the API instead.

Reusing this content

Quoting a summary with a link back to the original is fine and welcome. If you want to republish whole articles, or you need a feed shaped differently, write to decoder@wxdecoder.com.
