TLOF IS MARKED TO INDICATE THE MAX TAKEOFF WEIGHT AND MAX LENGTH OF HELICOPTER WHICH THE TLOF IS DESIGNED. TLOF IS MARKED WITH A TOUCHDOWN/POSITION CIRCLE, AND PERIMETER IS DEFINED WITH A CONTINUOUS 12-IN (30 CM) WHITE LINE. CAUTIONARY SIGN IS DISPLAYED TO CONTROL ACCESS TO HELIPORT. ONLY ONE HELICOPTER SHALL OCCUPY THE HELIPAD AT A TIME. A NON-OBSTRUCTING LIGHTED WIND INDICATOR IS MAINTAINED ADJACENT TO THE TAKEOFF/LANDING AREA, BUT LOCATED OUTSIDE THE SAFETY AREA AND APP/DEPT PATHS. APPROACH OPS SHOULD BE CONDUCTED FROM 290 -TO- 085 DEGREE COURSE, USING THE CENTER OF HELIPORT AS THE REF POINT. DEPT OPS SHOULD BE CONDUCTED FROM 110 -TO- 265 DEGREE COURSE, USING THE CENTER OF HELIPORT AS THE REF POINT.
